VOICE Out Loud 39 “The Challenge of Humanitarian Communication: Bridging Principles and Public Perception"

VOICE is pleased to announce the publication of the 39th edition of its magazine, VOICE Out Loud, titled “The Challenge of Humanitarian Communication: Bridging Principles and Public Perception.”
This edition brings together reflections on how humanitarian communication can uphold dignity, agency, and justice in an increasingly complex landscape. Contributors from ADRA, HIAS Europe, Geneva Call, and Médicos del Mundo explore critical issues such as the ethics of visual storytelling, countering disinformation, shedding light on neglected crises, and shifting power toward local communities. The issue also features highlights from VOICE’s recent event on decolonising humanitarian action, as well as an interview with EU Commissioner Hadja Lahbib, who underlines the importance of responsible, dignified, and inclusive communication in humanitarian contexts.
VOICE Out Loud 39 offers valuable insights navigating the challenges of communication while staying true to humanitarian principles.
