2023 Global Hunger Index - Launch in Brussels
This year's Global Hunger Index (GHI) recognizes the lack of youth representation and their insufficient role in the transformation of food systems. In line with this focus, the GHI launch in Brussels seeks to provide a platform for EU institutions, the EU Spanish Presidency, international and national Civil Society Organizations and youth representatives to collectively address the challenges in relation to global food systems. By actively involving young voices, the event aims at bridging existing gaps and ensuring that the concerns and aspirations of the world's youth are effectively integrated into EU debates and decision-making processes directed to transforming food systems.
