VOICE Position Paper: From Evidence to Action

In this position paper, VOICE sets out concrete recommendations for a stronger and more coherent EU approach to fragility and the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus.

The paper outlines eight key priorities, including adopting a people-centred approach, strengthening partnerships with local actors, ensuring long-term and flexible engagement, and safeguarding humanitarian principles. As the EU prepares a new integrated approach to fragility in 2026, this paper highlights a critical opportunity to better connect short-term humanitarian responses with long-term resilience and peacebuilding efforts, ensuring support reaches those most affected.
