Joint NGO Statement - UNGA 80: Yemen’s Humanitarian Crisis Must Not Be Forgotten

More than 60 humanitarian organisations, including many VOICE members, have signed a joint statement at the opening of the 80th UN General Assembly calling for urgent action on Yemen. The statement highlights rising hunger and malnutrition, recent floods and disease outbreaks, and the severe underfunding of the 2025 Humanitarian Response Plan.

The NGOs urge the international community to scale up funding, protect civilians and humanitarian workers, and sustain diplomatic efforts to support peace in Yemen.
