VOICE Workshop "Shaping the Future of EU Humanitarian Action: Priorities for the Next Communication"

The European Commission is currently drafting a new Humanitarian Communication, a key strategic document that will outline DG ECHO’s priorities, objectives and approach to humanitarian action for the coming years. This process takes place at a time of mounting global needs, a deepening financing gap and the growing complexity of crises driven by conflict, climate change and geopolitical fragmentation.

VOICE is organising a closed-door workshop, “Shaping the Future of EU Humanitarian Action: Priorities for the Next EC Humanitarian Communication”, aiming to support dialogue and collective reflection among DG ECHO and its partners, including NGOs, the ICRC, the Red Cross and MSF, on the priorities and ambitions that should guide the next Humanitarian Communication.
