Budget and Compliance Officer at Caritas Europa Secretariat

Location: Brussels

Contract: Full-time permament position

The Budget and Compliance (B&C) Officer provides support to the Caritas Europa secretariat (CE-S) in ensuring
the financial management is accurate, complete and up to date. As such, s/he plans, implements and ensures
compliance with CE’s internal policies and procedures. S/he supports in the preparation of the budget, the
reporting to the back donors and the improvement of financial procedures. S/he ensures that CE is compliant
with the administrative and legal requirements as an “Association Internationale sans but Lucratif” (AISBL) under
Belgian law. S/he will contribute to the preparation of the accounting records in accordance with internal and
external regulations. S/he will support the financial planning process for CE and ensure the administrative
compliance of CE in general.
