Dignified livelihoods as a means to address gender-based violence in the Ukraine response

HIAS and VOICE Amplified are hosting a webinar on ‘Dignified livelihoods as a means to address gender-based violence in the Ukraine response’. The webinar will be hosted from 15h00-16h45 CET on Wednesday 6 December 2023.

Approaching solutions to gender-based violence through economic empowerment reflects the current and necessary shift from emergency response to the integration of people displaced by the war in Ukraine. The event will bring together practitioners and policymakers to hear from local organisations from Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, and Romania on their learnings from supporting women displaced from Ukraine. Speakers will explore how economic inclusion activities can promote resilience, and will provide recommendations based on recently published HIAS-VOICE GBV risk assessments from Romania and Moldova.
