Ruth Faber

Ruth Faber has just over 25 years’ humanitarian and development experience. She spent some 14 years working in the Caucuses, Central Asia, Asia and Africa overseeing humanitarian and development projects, interspersed with times at head-office working on policy and organisational development.
For the past twelve years, she has been with the EU-CORD network, a grouping of 26 European relief and development organisations working in more than 86 countries globally. As CEO, she has driven the network's internal development, vision, strategy, and communications while representing the network towards the EU institutions.
Areas of expertise include organisational and network leadership, vision framing and strategic direction, membership engagement, representation, policy analysis, advocacy and lobbying, training, and communications.
Of dual-heritage and hailing from Scotland, Ruth is a graduate of Aberdeen University with a degree in English and Social Research.
