Caroline Correia
Advocacy Assistant
Caroline joined the VOICE Secretariat in April 2024 as an Advocacy Assistant. She focuses on issues related to EU humanitarian funding instruments, the annual budget procedure, the Emergency Aid Reserve, and the Multiannual Financial Framework, among others.
Before joining VOICE, she was a Policy and Advocacy Officer at Coordination SUD, the French NGO platform. She worked on French humanitarian aid and the impact of sanctions at the national level. Caroline also gained experience with different types of associations and NGOs, such as Industrie des Talents and the World Federalist Movement-Institute for Global Policy where she advocated for a strong International Criminal Court.
Caroline holds a master’s degree in Public International Law from Utrecht University (Netherlands), with a focus on environmental law and the Law of the Sea.
