Anna Bonomelli
Advocacy Assistant
Anna joined the Secretariat in November 2022 as a Junior Advocacy Assistant. She supports the facilitation of the Resilience-Nexus Working Group and the Humanitarian Partnership Watch Group.
Anna graduated in September 2022 with a double Master’s degree in “Crossing the Mediterranean: towards Investment and Integration (MIM)” at University Ca’ Foscari of Venice and Université Paul-Valéry 3 Montpellier (UPVM). She specialized in International Cooperation with a focus on Migration studies in the Mediterranean area. She also deepened her study of Arabic language and culture, which she began during her Bachelor's degree in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation at Università Statale of Milan and at INALCO in Paris.
Before joining VOICE, Anna lived in Lebanon since February 2022, where she conducted her internship at the local NGO Salam LADC, and carried out fieldwork research for her master's thesis. During her studies, she gained field experience volunteering in associations in Rwanda, Greece, and Italy.
