Charlotte Schneider

Charlotte Schneider joined Action against Hunger France (ACF) in September 2021, as Global Operations and Programs Director, responsible for the operational strategy and implementation in over 20 countries, managing an Operations and Program Department of more than 80 staff at global level and 4,000 staff at field level with an annual worldwide budget of more than 300 Million EUR.

A senior professional in humanitarian aid and development, Charlotte has worked for ACF, Madera and the World Bank in Afghanistan. She served as ACF Country Director and INGO Forum coordinator in Haiti and then as Emergency and Readiness Director for ACF.

Charlotte has led large teams in designing, implementing, coordinating multiple and evaluating humanitarian responses including emergency responses in the Philippines (Haiyan), Sierra Leone (Ebola), Nigeria (new accessible are after the withdrawal of Boko Haram) and in Jordan and Iraq following the Syrian and ISIS conflicts.

After graduating from Sciences Po Paris and starting her professional life in the consulting sector, Charlotte has built up a career of more than 10 years in the humanitarian field and more than 5 years at the Paris City Hall to develop the policies on integration of migrants and refugees as well as lecturing in Sciences Po Paris on Designing Relief Projects in Conflict and Disaster Settings.
