Luana Parisius
Junior Communication Assistant (Maternity Cover)
Luana joined the VOICE Secretariat in October 2025 as Junior Communication Assistant. She contributes to content creation, social media, and website management, as well as monitoring EU institutional developments relevant to humanitarian action.
Before joining VOICE, she worked as a Project Assistant at Maze Impact, a Lisbon-based company supporting ventures tackling social and environmental challenges. Previously, she was a Schuman trainee at the European Parliament’s Directorate-General for Translation in Brussels, where she developed communication strategies, organised events, and managed social media campaigns. By attending committee meetings, she gained deeper insight into EU policymaking and institutions.
Luana holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Culture from Maastricht University and a master’s degree in Communication Studies from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon. She has also volunteered as a project manager for Make Change Possible in Mayana, Namibia, and with Amnesty International Maastricht Students in the Netherlands.
