Francesca Giubilo
Senior Advocacy Officer
Francesca joined VOICE in October 2020 as Advocacy Officer and became Senior Advocacy Officer from October 2021. She helps shaping EU policies and practices affecting the delivery of principled humanitarian assistance worldwide. More specifically, she leads the advocacy activities of the network on EU humanitarian funding as well as nexus and climate humanitarian related topics.
Prior to joining VOICE, she was the Regional Coordinator of the European branch of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO-Europe) for seven years and a member of the Board of Directors of Fair Trade Advocacy Office for the last two years. Before that, she gathered experiences on research and advocacy at the European Network on Debt and Development (Eurodad), at the European Parliament in the ACP Unit and in humanitarian organisations, namely Médecins Sans Frontières and Médecins du Monde.
Francesca studied Political Science and has a Master’s degree in International Relations (Italy) with a specific focus on International Economics. During her studies, she volunteered for several organisations in Italy and gained some field experiences in Kenya, South Africa and Benin.
