VOICE at AidEx 2025: Tackling disinformation and misinformation in crises

VOICE is co-organising a workshop at AidEx Geneva 2025, the world’s leading humanitarian aid and disaster relief event, to address the pressing issue of disinformation in humanitarian contexts.

This panel will be exploring how disinformation and misinformation affect humanitarian response, community trust, and access to affected populations. The session includes perspectives from NGOs working in crisis contexts, communication experts, and policy stakeholders, focusing on practical experiences and strategies to counter false narratives that undermine humanitarian efforts.
