Results-Based Protection in Practice contest: VOICE members winners and webinar


On Thursday, 25 March at 13:00 (CET), the US NGO platform InterAction will host a webinar presenting field practitioners working around the world to implement results-based approaches to protection. To set the stage for the discussion, participants will hear from the top three winners, who are all VOICE members, in InterAction’s recently held 2020 Good Practice Contest:

(1) First Place Winner: WeWorld and their “Community Protection Approach” utilized in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt). Please find here their statement;
(2) Runner-up: Danish Refugee Council’s experience in developing a tool for participative Focus Group Discussions for protection analysis and prioritization in Iraq;
(3) Second Runner-up: the International Rescue Committee’s insights from their two-way information platform (Refugee.Info) in Italy.

WeWorld's approach was also featured in the VOICE report “NGO Perspectives on the EU's Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus.
