Annelies Claessens

War Child  – Hollande

Annelies has 17 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, particularly Programming experience (with 10 years abroad) and Strategic leadership.

She joined War Child in 2020 after having been the Chair of Dutch Relief Alliance for more than two years. Beforehand she had worked more than eight years with Cordaid including as Humanitarian Aid Director, and with MDF Training & Consultancy and Search for Common Ground.

Annelies studied at Utrecht University and graduated in Centre for Conflict Studies/Social Sciences.
